Our Peachy family gathered for a wonderful soirée to kick off the holiday season. We shared our favorite holiday appetizers and sides. Today Tammy Dalton, our hair guru, shares with you one of her favorite drinks to prepare for the holiday season…peach and mango cider. Tammy loves how festive this delicious cider is! It’s always a hit at her holiday events with both friends and family. It’s great for just relaxing next to the fire or serving as an after-meal treat!
Peach and Mango Cider
Course: DrinksIngredients
4 (11.5 ounce) cans peach nectar
1 bag of frozen mango
3 cups of water
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1 cup rum or bourbon of choice
½ cup lemon juice
1 teaspoon ground allspice
2 cinnamon sticks
Directions
- In a 4-quart slow cooker, combine all ingredients. Cover and heat on low for 2 to 3 hours. Discard cinnamon sticks. Turn slow cooker to warm setting. Serve in favorite mugs with additional cinnamon sticks.
