All White Everything

I have been wanting to write about wearing All White for a while now. I really wanted to emphasize that is OK to wear white all year round these days. It is still winter in most places, although we are having some beautiful sunny days here. My point is that white is no longer reserved for summer alone. Wearing an all white outfit is “on trend” any time of the year. Of course, you will want to be conscious of the temperature outside and the fabrics you choose accordingly. I would not suggest wearing your cropped white jeans in the freezing cold but choose a straight or flared style in a heavier white denim. Adding a chunky white sweater is a great way to get more wear out of those white jeans. I have searched to find some of my favorite, great looking white pieces that you can wear now and carry into spring and summer.

There is just something so classy about wearing an all white ensemble. Winter white or cream has always been a winter and holiday favorite. It is OK to mix cream with white for a beautiful tonal look. You can also always add a neutral shoe or handbag for a look that is pulled together and always in style. It’s not so much about the rules of when you can wear all white anymore. How you wear it is more important these days. Incorporating new styling tricks that I have mentioned is key. Mixing textures, layering multiple pieces and combining various shades will give you a polished look for many seasons.

Top: In my opinion, you can never have too many great white blouses. This season you can choose a great fitted version, a looser floaty tunic or a peasant blouse reminiscent of the 70’s. Adding a chunky white sweater over the white blouse will give you a great look for cooler weather. I really like this top from Banana Republic. It has a classy yet youthful feel to it.

Jean: When choosing a jean these days you have many options. This matchstick jean from J. Crew is one of my all time favorites (and it is on major sale). I wear mine all year.

High waisted wide leg trouser: A new trend in pants it the high waisted wide leg trouser. These can be fun to wear for everyday or parties. I like to wear a high heeled shoe, platform or wedge. These really make your legs look long and your waist look small. I recommend checking out this pair.

Lace is a huge trend this year and this long sleeved dress in white can be worn for many occasions. My clients are always looking for a dress with sleeves, so here you go. I really like the simplicity of this dress! And it is under $130.

Classic Coat: It is always a great idea to have a classic coat in your closet. This one in white will be a great addition to your wardrobe for any season.

Accessories in white are a perfect way to give your outfit a finished look. You can wear them with many things already in your closet as well as a chic all white outfit.

Necklace – I actually own this exact piece and love it! Excellent staple for your white look.

The bucket bag – is a big trend in handbags and this one is not too oversized. It is very practical and will travel well.

Statement Ring – White and gold are a really chic mix. I love the combination along with the
unique shape of this ring. It would be perfect with jeans and a blouse or a cocktail dress.

Shoe – Of course, everyone knows that I love shoes!!! (with a passion) I am in love with these chic Tory Burch sneakers and plan to add a pair to my own wardrobe. The sporty chic look is here to stay. Why not look pulled together while running errands around town.
