HSM Essential Plank + Pushups
In under 9 minutes learn how to hold a perfect plank and perform your best pushup to strengthen your body and mind with our Hilliard Studio Method Essential Plank + Pushups.
Why we love this short workout video: Plank and pushups are two of the most effective exercises you can perform and you can do them anywhere since it requires nothing more than a floor and your own body. Proper plank and pushups fire into all four abdominal muscle groups to flatten your tummy, strengthen your back and work your chest, shoulders and even the front of your legs.
The key is maintaining proper alignment while pushing yourself to your edge… And you’re not going to believe how strong you can become! No matter your age or fitness level, HSM Essential Plank + Pushups gives you the power to get the body you’ve always wanted.

Liz Hilliard’s Food Diary
Breakfast:
Organic Green Tea
Organic Apple
Hilliard Studio Method Signature Smoothie
Post Workout:
Think Thin High Protein Bar + Trilogy Kombucha
This bar is the only processed food I eat. Its 20g of protein and 0g of sugar keep me fueled after teaching and working out. Kombucha has healthy probiotics which are great for digestion.
Lunch:
Grilled salmon with loads of leafy greens and vegetables.
Snacks:
Raw veggies dipped in hummus. The darker the better. I love cabbage, broccoli and brussels sprouts.
Dinner:
Beans, beans, beans! Lentils and black beans are my favorite. My nighttime salad is any chopped green in my garden with nuts of any kind. I add more more veggies and fruits like blackberries. A really good olive oil and balsamic vinegar with salt, pepper and lemon is the best dressing you can use for flavor and healthy fats. I add the lemon or any citrus squeeze to aid in the absorption of the greens.
My nightly treat is homemade popcorn air-popped in olive oil or coconut oil and 2 glasses of good red wine.
