Four exercises you can do anywhere

Not exercising? There are so many ways we try to justify skipping it. And I’ve heard every excuse.
“I don’t have time to get to the gym!”
You don’t have to go to a gym.
“I just have too many things going on.”
So you must not have time to watch TV or to surf the Internet either.
“When you have kids, you just don’t have time.”
Use your kids as weights. They will love it!
(But, seriously, don’t do this. It can be dangerous.)
“It’s just not convenient for me right now.”

Exercise is a necessity if living a healthy life is important to you. But the truth is, you just can’t motivate yourself to exercise. Rather than dive into a discussion of motivation and goals, I’m going to dispel the notion that you don’t have anywhere to workout. If you have a floor and an open area that is 4′ x 8′, then you have somewhere to work out.
These are four exercises you can do ANYWHERE! (The exception would be if you were lost at sea on a small boat or hiding in a tree from a large predator. If that’s the case, then you are excused from worrying about working out. You have much bigger problems to deal with.)
The Circuit
BURPEE
PUSHUP
LUNGE
SQUAT
The video demonstrates each exercise. With all of the exercises, make sure you maintain a neutral spine and make sure your knees track over your feet. There are detailed instructions in the video. Do each exercise for 20 seconds, then rest for 10 seconds. Go through the circuit three times. Check your heart rate. If it’s up that suggests that you are working hard!
