Peachy the Magazine

The Peachy Team

Blair Farris

In 2013, Blair Farris set out to create and publish a lifestyle magazine honoring her late grandmother’s zest for life and love for all things beautiful. A huge influence on Blair, her grandmother “Peachy” had a big, bold, and eclectic style and loved to make a statement with fabulous jewelry and purses, bright colors, and creative hats. Peachy’s love for the arts has always inspired Blair, and she instilled in Blair and other family members a passion for living a good and meaningful life.

The product of Blair’s beloved Peachy’s inspiration is Peachy the Magazine. Now in its tenth year, Peachy is a digital publication that takes readers inside gorgeous homes, walks them through verdant gardens, entices the taste buds with delicious food and drinks, and inspires readers with the latest style trends, plus so much more.

Blair has also been a garden designer for more than 20 years. With a true love for thoughtful design whether it be traditional or contemporary, she creates meaningful, lush spaces for clients of Blair Farris Designs. She recognizes the necessity of collaborating with clients in the process of designing a master plan that will then become the art of garden making: “I love working with the client to create a vision that will blossom into a unique outdoor space for their family and friends to enjoy.”

As a self-taught cook and working mom with a passion for food and entertaining, Tam’s love of the kitchen started at a young age when she cooked Southern fare in the kitchen with her mother and grandmother. She brings a “no fear” attitude and eclectic palate to the table.

Lesley Holland Downey
Beauty Editor

Obsessed with all things beautiful, Lesley worked in the makeup industry for more than 10 years and has done makeup for countless friends, brides, and other willing participants. She is thrilled to be able to share her love of beauty with Peachy readers.

Winn Elliott

A native of Charlotte and mother of 4, Winn loves traveling, enjoying the outdoors, and spending time with family and friends. She is excited to be a part of the Peachy team.

Sydney Farris

An artist, floral designer, and freelance photographer, Sydney enjoys creating beauty through painting, taking pictures, or designing fabulous floral arrangements. Her floral creations run the gamut from simple arrangements to full-service floral design for weddings and other special events.

Delia Welton McMullen

As content coordinator for four local magazines, Delia loves working with words and talented people. She is also a freelance writer/editor with a background in corporate communications. A native Charlottean and a graduate of Davidson College, Delia is married with two adult children and a high schooler.
