The Fall 2020 issue features the Hamptons and we can’t think of a better time to daydream about escaping to this refreshing and chic destination. Join us as we tour a warm and personality filled weekend home designed by Meg Braff of Meg Braff Designs, get to know the stylish power couple behind Stylists to a T, and plan a getaway to the Hamptons with recommendations from our insider’s guide to the area.
Six months ago, I would never have dreamed that the world would be in the state it is now. I surely wouldn’t have believed I’d be sitting on a plane, stressed out, wearing a mask, and wiping down every surface. We all have been through so many challenging times in the last six months. While I am trying to stay positive and hope for the best—wow, 2020, I’m ready for you to hit the road!
This was an interesting issue to work on. Honestly, with my own lack of motivation from quarantine, no travel, and family trauma, I just wasn’t sure it would get done. But as always, my amazing team persevered, and I am so grateful.
Interiors
I’m thrilled to feature the incredibly talented interior designer Meg Braff. Her classic designs paired with bold use of color set the stage for a chic setting in the Hamptons. Who wouldn’t want to spend time in this warm and personality filled weekend home?
Lifestyle
It was such a treat getting to know Alex and Michael Toccin and learning about their clothing line and their “Stylists to a T” business and way of life. Don’t miss the gorgeous hydrangeas on their Hamptons property. You will definitely have flower envy!
Food + Entertaining
Tamberlyn, my entertaining editor and partner in fun, and I had such a blast during the photo shoot at Idlewild, an intimate cocktail bar in Charlotte. Vince and his team take craft cocktails to a completely different level. The hand-chipped orbs of ice are incredible as are the cocktails themselves. Bragging a bit…my daughter Sydney’s flowers for the shoot are to swoon over.
Style + Inspiration
I am very excited to announce our partnership with Fashion & Compassion. This Charlotte nonprofit empowers vulnerable women to transform their lives by connecting the women with God, one another, and resources. The women are trained to make jewelry and other crafts. Peachy’s new line with Fashion & Compassion launches October 8. ALL proceeds will go directly to helping and educating women in need. It seemed like such a perfect fit to be able to help other women. I hope you will enjoy the highly curated line that I designed for our readers and followers.
Lastly, I hope that you all stay safe and healthy. We need the community of our family, friends, and coworkers more than ever. As always, I am so grateful for your continued support.
Cheers!
