Our Fall 2022 issue features the wonderful mountain city of Asheville, North Carolina. Join us as we tour a chic city condo and a beautifully-restored historic home; stroll, hike, and bike the grounds of the Biltmore; and enjoy a fantastic fall meal featuring the lovely new Veronica Beard x Juliska dinnerware collection…plus so much more.
Fall is my favorite time of the year when the temperatures start to drop and the leaves change colors. I had dinner with some girlfriends the other night, and it was the first time in a while that we could sit outside and enjoy each other’s company with a cool breeze.
I am so excited about featuring Asheville in our fall issue. Asheville, in the North Carolina mountains, has become a wonderful little city with fabulous restaurants, cute shops, and lots of things to do.
Gardens
First and foremost: visit the Biltmore House and its stunning grounds. George Vanderbilt built the home as a retreat over 130 years ago, and it is truly the most spectacular house in America. I love the piece Bek Mitchell-Kidd wrote on the healing powers of the outdoors. Being out in nature is my happy place.
Interiors
We feature two completely different Asheville homes designed by the uber-talented Lizzy Summerlin of
LS Interior Design. Check out a chic city condo with gorgeous views and a historic dazzler that has been restored in the Biltmore Forest neighborhood.
Food + Entertaining
Tamberlyn Dobrowski pulls together a fantastic fall fête using the new tabletop line by Veronica Beard x
Juliska. The amazing meal begins with delicious Meyer lemon ricotta toast appetizers. The grand finale—a carrot cake trifle—is divine!
Beauty + Style
As always, Lesley Downey shares her favorite beauty products for the season, and our style section calls on fabulous stylists to create inspired outfits following five fall themes. Whether you plan on a mountain weekend, football game, cocktail party, date night, or girls’ weekend in the city, we’ve got you covered!
Anniversary Celebration
We are coming up on our 10-year anniversary and have many special events planned over the next year. The first will be a great day of wreath making with West Queen Studio culminating in a farm-to-table dinner. More details will follow.
Thank you so much for your continued support of Peachy. I can’t believe it has been 10 years!
Cheers!
