Our Summer 2017 issue focuses on the vibrant city of San Francisco. Among our features are a beautiful home and a modern, urban garden—both in the Pacific Heights district. You’ll also find a Tamberlyn Dobrowski’s collection of fantastic blackberry recipes and Lesley Downey’s roundup of our contributors’ favorite beauty products.
I remember the first time I visited San Francisco in my teens—I was in awe of the beautiful scenery, remarkable architecture, and delicious cuisine. My aunt and uncle, Prissy and Warren Gravely, took my cousin Pyeatt and me out to visit colleges. It was the first time I saw the majestic Pacific Ocean.

Coming full circle, we are thrilled to now feature the vibrant city of San Francisco. Don’t miss the stunning home of Beatie and Mike Seidenberg. Mike was a great friend of mine in high school. We also feature a landscape architecture firm that I have been enamored with for years—Lutsko Associates. By chance, the Seidenbergs’ architect works with Ron Lutsko quite often and introduced us. I am thrilled to spotlight Lutsko’s vision in one of my favorite gardens composed of a series of outdoor rooms with verdant walls and beautiful views.
Food + Entertaining, Beauty and Wellness Matters
Our entertaining editor, Tamberlyn Dobrowski, has pulled together an assortment of absolutely delicious recipes featuring blackberries that are perfect for your summer soirée. Lesley Downey’s roundup of our editors’ favorite beauty products includes some great finds. Finally, Dr. Nancy Palermo shares her thoughts on the best supplements for optimal health and wellness.
Neiman Marcus Runway Event
We had another fabulous runway event with Neiman Marcus Charlotte this spring featuring seasonal trends and incorporating Peachy’s “Splurge or Steal” format. I felt very blessed that my mom, Georgi Duwe, and my daughter Sydney could be in town for this fun style show.
