Our Spring 2017 issue focuses on the beautiful city of Birmingham. This once sleepy Southern town has blossomed into a city that boasts chic stores, amazing restaurants and a cool art scene. While still considered a great place to raise kids with a very low cost of living, Birmingham has transformed itself into a hip town with an eclectic vibe.
Even though it is only early March, spring has already sprung. After one of the warmest winters in recent memory, the daffodils, azaleas, and Lenten rose are all in bloom. Looking out my office window, I can see the cherry tree is getting ready to pop any day—and only a month early. Interesting times!

Food + Entertaining
Frank Stitt, a nationally renowned chef, calls Birmingham his home and has some of the best restaurants in town. Our entertaining editor, Tamberlyn Dobrowski, worked with his group to create a delicious spring menu for our readers.
Gardens
Step into a lovely Birmingham treasure in our Gardens feature. This European-style garden uses a traditional Southern palette and includes beautiful sculptures and ornamentation. Our Interiors feature spotlights a unique renovation of a 1980s house. Be sure to check out this stylish use of space, fabrics, and colors.
Beauty + Neiman Marcus Runway Event
A few weeks ago, Peachy and MasterCard hosted the Project Beauty Event at Neiman Marcus in Atlanta. It was a glittering evening showcasing the spring offerings of many luxurious cosmetic and fragrance lines. Neiman’s splurged with cocktails and champagne, light bites, and swag bags for all. Peachy’s beauty editor, Lesley Downey, joined me for this event and features some of the fabulous new products in her piece. If you are in the Charlotte area on March 30th, don’t miss the fun from 6–8 pm as we host our second runway presentation at Neiman Marcus. We will have cocktails and all the new spring styles. I hope you will join us.
2017 is proving to be an amazing year with lots of collaborations and incredible features. Our summer issue will feature San Francisco, and our fall issue will spotlight Jackson Hole, Wyoming. As always, thank you so much for all your support. I love to hear comments from our wonderful readers.
