I can’t believe that we are almost halfway through June and summer is upon us. In this issue, we are featuring the beautiful city of Boston. I lived in Boston years ago, and while the winters are brutal, the summers are absolutely lovely—with flowers blooming and cool breezes off the water.

Interiors

In our interiors feature, we spotlight a beautiful suburban Boston home that designer Elizabeth Georgantas took from spec to spectacular, proving it’s never too late for good design to step in. The results are fabulous, including the primary bedroom which elicits a Hollywood vibe with a dreamy mix of luxe tones.

Food + Entertaining

Tamberlyn’s entertaining feature is the perfect menu for light and fresh alfresco dining. I love the Asian flair, especially the mango sticky rice! When we would go to the beach with Peachy she would always have sliced mangos in the fridge. A very special thank you to our good friend Jenny Joyner who let us shoot in her pool house. The interiors designed by Aida Saul and the gardens designed by Laurie Durden are fabulous!

Beauty + Style

Beauty editor Lesley shares her “warm weather heroes,” products that both delight the senses and address a concern. You’re sure to find something new to both simplify and elevate your summer look. And don’t miss our Style section, covering all your summer events from farmers market visits and lunch with friends to weddings and date nights!

This issue also has an Artist Spotlight on Kirsten Dexter’s fine jewelry line, which is inspired by nature and classic architecture.

Summer can be chaotic with camps, carpools and trips, but it can also be a time of rest and rejuvenation. I know I will be taking some time relax and reboot. Thank you to my fabulous team who makes the magic happen, our many partners and our wonderful readers! I couldn’t do it without all of you.

Cheers!
