Cinnamon Harvest Sour
1 ounce rye whiskey
1 ounce apple brandy
¾ ounce fresh lemon juice
Shy ¾ ounce cinnamon syrup (see note)
- Shake all ingredients without ice, add ice and shake, and strain into glass. Top with grated cinnamon.

- Cinnamon Syrup: The easy version is combining 2 parts sugar with 1 part water in a pot, adding about 6 broken/crushed cinnamon sticks, and heating until the sugar is dissolved (do not boil). Let it sit overnight and strain out the cinnamon sticks.
