Ingredients

  • 1 ounce apple brandy

  • 1 ounce rye whiskey

  • ¾ ounce fresh lemon juice

  • ½ ounce honey syrup (see note)

  • 1 heaping bar spoon of good quality apple butter

  • Cinnamon, grated

Directions

  • Shake ingredients with ice and strain into rocks glass with ice. Top with grated cinnamon.

Notes

  • Cocktail from Idlewild
  • Honey Syrup: Combine 3 parts honey with 1 part hot water; incorporate and let cool.
