After not seeing my family for almost a year, Rip and I are thrilled to be able to host for the holidays. We have pulled together an Italian feast that can be used anytime throughout the year. The fusilli pasta dish has just the right amount of creaminess paired with tomatoes and infused with the smokiness of crispy bacon. Since everything is different these days, we went for a nontraditional but extremely elegant and festive tablescape. Why not have purple glasses and batik print napkins?

Citrus, Beet, and Arugula Salad with Halloumi Croutons
Resplendent with mixed citrus and jewel-toned roasted beets, this peppery arugula salad gets elevated to holiday status courtesy of crispy halloumi croutons.

Roasted vegetables are delicious and easy to make. Select a fresh and colorful assortment, and prepare them with seasonings that complement the other dishes on your menu.
