I am so thrilled to be featuring the beautiful town of Aspen in our fall 2024 issue. I can’t say enough about the breathtaking views, fabulous hikes and stunning flowers. I was also thrilled to connect with architect Jamie Brewster McLeod and landscape architect Mike Albert. Both projects that we spotlight are truly stunning.

Gardens

Our Gardens feature, Highlands Retreat, sits at an elevation of 8,000 feet just a few miles out of town. It boasts towering aspens, mountainous terrain and thoughtful, indigenous plantings. The home and grounds are beautifully integrated with the surroundings and are an award-winning example of holistic mountain design.

Interiors + Architecture

We also share a mountain estate on a nearby river. The contemporary home seamlessly incorporates river views and exterior spaces into the interior design and uses organic materials to create a tranquil escape.

Food + Entertaining

Our entertaining editor has pulled together a delicious fall dinner that includes a creamy tomato soup, roasted sheet pan chicken and a white bean salad with crispy capers. The sticky toffee pudding for dessert is not to be missed—it is definitely worth every single calorie!

We have lots of fun events coming up in the fall, so keep an eye out for invites. I hope you get out and enjoy the crisp fall weather. As always, I am so grateful for the support of my amazing team and all our readers.

Cheers!
