A mixture of materials was the name of the game in this space. Soft textures, easy fabrics, and relaxed pieces were all incorporated. Original art and unique lighting were the “jewelry” to finish off the look. Using subtle colors for calm, this look shouts “sit and stay a while” on a sunny afternoon. “I believe in a collected home that is unique, eclectic, and art-filled, expressing one’s personality from the moment you enter—a cohesive look with a gathering of pieces telling a story,” says Beth. “There’s no single style, but rather an expression of a client’s personality. We layer colors and patterns or use simply stated blacks and whites. We support local artisans, craftsmen, and small businesses to design a one-of-a-kind look, using a healthy mix of materials and textures with a surprise or two. I believe your home should be your refuge, evoking a sense of calm while not taking it all so seriously—have fun with it! I like to think a little outside of the box and break a rule or two!”
