This drink is a riff of a traditional Negroni. Aged gin adds depth of flavor, and complexity comes from the Frinet Branca and Cynar.

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces Cardinal Barrel-Rested Gin

  • ½ ounce Frinet Branca (Italian Amaro)

  • ½ ounce Cynar

  • ½ ounce Sweet Vermouth

  • Orange rind (for garnish)

Directions

  • Stir ingredients in ice, strain into glass of fresh ice and stir. Garnish with orange rind, give a squeeze to release the oil over the drink. Serve.
