The Holidays are upon us and sometimes it may feel like we are morphing into multiple versions of ourselves to keep up with the parties, people and pace of the season.
At Peachy you know us for quality and investing in experiences that truly deliver and we’re bringing you a recommendation that is a personal favorite of our Founder and CEO, Blair Farris, that is the perfect try-now treatment to be ready — and most importantly — feel good about all this season will be bringing your way.
Where? Capizzi MD Cosmetic Surgery & Med Spa, Charlotte, NC
Peachy is headquartered in Charlotte and this is one of Blair’s go-to spots.
What is the procedure? Morpheus8
Morpheus8 is a minimally invasive procedure that helps reduce wrinkles, fine lines, scars, and other signs of aging.
The revolutionary technology combines microneedling and radiofrequency to achieve skin tightening and rejuvenation; tiny needles penetrate the skin to stimulate collagen production, resulting in smoother and younger-looking skin.
Quick and safe for all skin types
Amy Spencer, a licensed medical aesthetician with Capizzi MD, says “Morpheus8 is safe for all skin types and tones. Most patients are aged between 35 and 65. Typically, the younger you are the better results you have since you tend to have more active collagen production.”
Why is now a good time to try Morpheus8?
With Morpheus8, you can achieve amazing results with minimal downtime — on average 2–3 days, making it perfect for the holiday season.
“After having your procedure, you want to avoid the sun as much as possible for the first few weeks, so fall/winter makes this an ideal time,” says Amy.
It’s for more than your face
Each patient obviously has individual concerns and priorities; Morpheus8 works on just about every part of the body including the backs of arms, upper knees, abdomen, backs of hands, and thighs.
Power-up your procedure
Morpheus8 is a wonderfully effective treatment to use on its own. However, it is even more effective when combined with other treatments as part of a comprehensive treatment plan.
“I love to pair Morpheus8 with medical grade skincare throughout a 3-treatment session (and beyond, to maintain results) and then polish off the skin with a resurfacing HALO Laser at the end of the series,” recommends Amy.
Because Morpheus8 works on the deeper structures of the skin, the Halo Laser is the perfect pairing as it addresses more of the surface-level concerns reducing sun damage, hyperpigmentation, redness and overall skin tone, so it is a perfect pairing.
Patients also often pair Morpheus8 with IPL photofacials, dermal fillers and liposuction.
What’s the average investment?
Again, each Capizzi experience is curated to the individual patient but on average face/neck: $2,500 and body: $3,000 (includes VISIA skin analysis, three Morpheus treatments, a customized aftercare kit and follow-up appointments).
(VISIA skin analysis is a computerized system that evaluates the health of your skin by taking high-resolution images from multiple angles.)
Peachy Tips
- Avoid caffeine and wine — especially red wine before the treatment — for a minimum of 24 hours prior.
- Wear comfortable clothes — some patients tend to get hot.
- You will be numbing for an hour so bring something to read (ahem…may we suggest the Holiday Issue of Peachy The Magazine) or your laptop or just take a nap.
- You will leave with nothing on your skin and you cannot apply any product or makeup for 24 hours (so plan to go home after the procedure).
Why travel to Capizzi MD for Morpheus8?

Ready to get started?
Amy says “If you are looking for a consultation, usually we can get you in within a week. Plan on about an hour. For the treatment, we block out approximately two hours so if you have a specific date/recovery time in mind we do recommend you book early, especially with the holidays!”
