With everything that is going on in the world today, we are dining at home for the majority of our meals. I love the beautiful, casual dining style seen in the French and Italian countryside and have always wanted to recreate my own European outdoor dining experience. The recipes here are simple, using the freshest in-season produce, and all are delicious. I know you will enjoy preparing, serving, and eating an al fresco meal of your own!
Sweet Corn Soup with Avocado Cream and Cilantro
This Sweet Corn Soup recipe is great to make in the summer when corn is at its best. You’ll be surprised that there is no cream in this creamy-tasting soup.
Basil Chicken Saltimbocca with Marinated Tomatoes and Burrata
This delicious Chicken Saltimbocca recipe is easy to make and always a crowd-pleaser. For a full meal, serve over a bed of arugula.
White Peach, Cassis, and Champagne Floats
This Champagne Float recipe is a beautiful and simple summery dessert. You can substitute a multitude of fruits, but perfectly ripe peaches are the winner for this recipe.
Many thanks to Coley Home for the lovely embroidered linen napkins and Abode Home Design for the beautiful canopy fabric and fun brass bugs. These special touches helped create a simple yet magical setting for our meal.
