Featured in our Summer 2024 Food + Entertaining article, Savoring Summer Nights, the White Linen cocktail is perfect for summer nights. This refreshing gin drink was created by the bartender Rene Dominguez and popularized at the Shady Lady Saloon in Sacramento.

Ingredients

• 1½ ounces Hendrick’s gin

• 1 ounce lemon juice

• ½ ounce simple syrup

• ½ ounce St-Germain elderflower liqueur

• 3 cucumber slices plus extra for garnish

• Soda water

Directions

• Mix gin, juice, syrup, liqueur and three cucumber slices in a shaker half-filled with ice. Shake until chilled. Strain into a Collins glass filled with ice. Add a splash of soda on top and garnish with additional cucumber slices.
