Wine Notes from Bond Street Wines
HIRSCH ZÖBING KAMPTAL RIESLING 2022 Approachable yet classy, this wine has subtle aromas of apricot with distinct mineral characteristics. Juicy apricot and grapefruit notes on the palate lend to a bright and fresh flavor with sublime structure and lingering, vibrant acidity. $43
JOSEP FORASTER TREPAT ROSAT RESERVA CAVA NV Bright pink in color with delicate bubbles, this wine has a refreshing acidity and lingering finish. Aromatics of red plum, cherry, strawberry pair with light biscuit and brioche notes with just a hint of white pepper. $27
ODDERO CONVENTO LANGHE ROSSO DOC 2021 A blend of Dolcetto and Barbera with a touch of Nebbiolo for structure, this wine comes from vineyards around the cellar at Santa Maria. These varietals are naturally fermented in stainless steel before maturing for 6 months in cement (with the Nebbiolo component in cask) with spontaneous malo. They’re then assembled in the late spring after harvest for bottling. This particular wine is light and crunchy with elegant notes of violet and berry fruit that speak to its Dolcetto dominance. A decent grip and structure make for an easy-drinking wine that is perfect for warm summer nights. $25
