Summer is my favorite season for entertaining. I love gathering friends and neighbors, keeping things casual, and creating an outdoor table that feels welcoming rather than perfect.
I always encourage people to have fun with their tabletops and not be afraid to try something new. For this summer table, I added an unexpected green cloche with a single poppy tucked inside. It was a simple touch, but it added personality and became a fun conversation piece.

For the menu, we focused on fresh, fruit-forward flavors that feel light but are packed with flavor. And of course, no summer gathering would be complete without an Italian Limoncello Spritz. One sip instantly transports me to Southern Italy and adds a little sunshine to the evening.
Remember that entertaining isn’t about perfection. It’s about bringing people together, creating beautiful memories, and making your guests feel special. And if you add a few unexpected details along the way, it only adds to the experience.
